Changelog

The GreenCalculus changelog is the public audit trail for every substantive change to our emissions calculators, methodology pages, the MasterBrain data layer, and platform infrastructure, logged day by day as it ships. Each entry records what changed, the old and new values, and the governing source (GHG Protocol, IPCC AR6, DEFRA 2025, PCAF, and others), so practitioners can trace any factor back to its standard and edition.

Entries are authored by Jeremiah Say and verified by the GreenCalculus Engineering pipeline before publication. Subscribe to the RSS feed to track factor source updates. Spotted an error? Email jeremiah@greencalculus.com — corrections are credited by name in the next entry.

    8 August 2026

Table footnotes and unit labels on twelve dataset pages, restored. • Consolidating the dataset pages onto one shared stylesheet removed each page's private copy. Two small styles were in those copies and…

    8 August 2026 · Data layer

US spend-based factors were labelled with the wrong IPCC warming-potential edition. Corrected. Every emission factor records which IPCC edition of global warming potentials was used to combine the individual gases into a…

    7 August 2026

The glossary is now a library you can browse, not just a list. • THE GLOSSARY PAGE IS NOW A DIRECTORY. The 213 terms are grouped into topics — accounting foundations, emissions…
